Guest Lecturer:
Annette Fulda
Annette Fulda brings a rare combination of depth, precision, and sensitivity to her work. With a background rooted in both therapeutic understanding and embodied movement practice, she approaches the body not as a fixed structure, but as a living, intelligent system - one that shapes not only how we move, but how we connect, listen, and express within the dance.
Her attention is drawn to those often overlooked details that profoundly influence balance, stability, and clarity—especially in the feet, the very ground of tango. With sensitivity and insight, she reveals how small shifts in awareness can transform the quality of movement, allowing for greater ease, presence, and musicality.
Annette’s teaching is both grounded and inspiring: she meets each individual where they are, offering tools that are at once practical and transformative. Through her presence, participants are invited to reconnect with their bodies in a way that is attentive, sustainable, and deeply human.

Why This Topic – and For Whom
Healthy and expressive feet are the foundation of all movement—especially in dance.
Yet many dancers face the challenge of hallux valgus: pain, restricted mobility, or a sense of instability and imbalance while dancing.
In this workshop, we bring together medical-therapeutic knowledge and artistic dance practice:
Medical & therapeutic:
Strengthening and mobility exercises, preventive guidance, and practical strategies for working with hallux-related issues.
Dance & aesthetics:
Elegance, expression, and precision of the feet in Argentine Tango and other dances—even in the presence of physical limitations.
Our aim:
Feet that are at once strong, mobile, and beautiful—allowing for greater ease and joy on the dance floor.
For whom:
Dancers of all levels seeking to strengthen their feet, alleviate pain, and deepen their expressive potential.
----
